He leads NorthGauge Healthcare Advisors, a Coker Company, which provides extensive clinical analysis and guidance to hospitals, health systems, surgery centers, and group practices across the U.S. With more than 30 years of senior healthcare leadership experience, Jon is considered a vital strategic partner by many chief executive officers, chief medical officers, quality and risk professionals, healthcare consultants, and attorneys. Jon has extensive experience in service enhancement, management skills training, operational assessment and turnaround, governance education, performance improvement, medical staff management and physician partnerships. His strength is in his systematic and creative approach to solving the most complex clinical and operational problems.
A former hospital CEO, Jon served in numerous hospital executive leadership positions for hospitals in Illinois and Idaho. After 18 years of service with healthcare systems in Illinois and Idaho, he served as CEO of the Nation’s first retainer-based concierge medicine practice. Over the past 20 years, Jon founded, developed and led two of the nation’s most successful clinical assessment companies. During that time, he became one of the nation’s foremost experts in the areas of physician peer review, clinical compliance, operational turnaround, and clinical strategy.
