Nick Newsad, MHSA, is a vice president at Coker. He has been involved in over 400 healthcare business transactions and thousands of physician contracts for over two decades. Healthcare attorneys frequently consult Mr. Newsad to determine Fair Market Value (FMV) for complex and unconventional healthcare deals that others may avoid or struggle to comprehend. His expertise includes complex physician practice management arrangements in CPOM states; business valuations for Certificates of Need, out-of-network businesses, and start-ups; physician compensation arrangements for which little or no market survey data exists; compensation for Nobel Prize winners and top 10 leading experts in their fields; intellectual property licensing; and unlisted CPT service pricing.
In addition, Mr. Newsad has presented for CE events for the American Health Law Association, American Bar Association, California Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association, Strafford, and Business Valuation Resources (BVR). He has also authored two books and over one hundred articles.
