Stephen Ross, a senior vice president with Coker, has over 23 years of industry experience successfully advising on health system strategy and alignment. His work encompasses medical staff and facility development, mergers and acquisitions, physician practice/health system integration, physician compensation plan design and advisory, and organization strategic financial performance.

Stephen specializes in assisting healthcare organizations in strategic service line and hospital expansion evaluations and business planning, hospital-physician alignment transactions, medical staff development planning, compensation valuation, and financial performance improvement. He has extensive experience with independent practice and health system-employed multi-specialty practice strategy, physician and medical staff development, Stark, Anti-kickback, and related services.

He is a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA) and is a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE). He is also certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Thomas Edison State College and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Ohio University.
